Liz Langham
Attuned People Solutions
I have worked with people of all ages and stages. I particularly love supporting people to adjust during times of change whether that is part of normal development (preschoolers, teenagers, people moving into different life stages) or brought about by external challenges (illness, trauma, injury, acquired disability, relationship difficulties, etc). I have worked in a range of services to support people with a range of issues including: Mental health and addictions; parenting; early development; neurodiversity; disability; grief; family violence; trauma; prison; residential rehabilitation; community; health; education; community choirs and more.
I love connecting with people through music and other creative practices to see how we can transform life together. I recognise the absolute uniqueness of each person I work with and strongly value the power of connection and collaboration. As an experienced social worker, AOD practitioner, educator and music therapist, I am able to bring a range of skills and connections to my work. I work from a holistic, strengths-based and resource-oriented perspective where we explore together how music can support you to live life in a more enjoyable way in line with your goals and interests as a person, family or group. I particularly value working in naturalistic settings such as early childhood centres and in the community as I strongly believe in making the power of musical transformation as accessible as possible. I do also work with people in my home as best meets their needs.
