International Day of Person with Disabilities

Today we join people around the world in honouring the United Nations’ International Day of Person with Disabilities. In support of this year’s theme – “Amplifying the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future” – we ask the New Zealand and Australian governments to consult with the disabled community and their allies in current reviews of service provision and funding, to allow disabled and neurodivergent people to live good lives and contribute to their communities

Music Therapy has not only brought our daughter great improvements in motor planning, finger strength, communication and attention span, it has brought her great joy as well. There is no place she would rather be than in a room making music.
