I currently work part-time as a lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK and in private practice.
My current clinical work is with adults living with dementia and their carers in a partnership project with the Cambridge Institute for Music Therapy Research at Anglia Ruskin University and Saffron Hall. I qualified as a music therapist from Anglia Ruskin University in 1996 and completed my Masters degree in 2002.
I have undertaken further study in Group Analysis, Family Therapy and Clinical Supervision. I have worked with people of all ages and in the fields of Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Special Needs and Specialist Palliative Care. I also have experience in developing music therapy positions and contracts and supporting therapists to establish new clinical work.
I am an experienced supervisor, a member of Music Therapy New Zealand (MThNZ) and the British Association for Music Therapy (BAMT) and am registered both with the New Zealand Music Therapy Registration Board and the Health and Care Professions Council, UK.
